I just paid for a new set of tires all around and an alignment! (Dad was more than willing to do the leg work) I replaced the Kumho Ecsta STX tires with new Hankook Ventus ST tires all the way around. I figured with a less aggressive pattern, they'd be alot quieter at highway speeds, and hopefully my nasty vibration is gone. The old tires were ready to go. The front two suffered the effects from camber being out of adjustment, as I removed the torsion bolts completely after the last alignment (actually, 1 fell out and I removed the other one) and of course there was the right rear tire... ;)

Good rubber. I've had mine since Aug 05 and it has been and still is a great choice. Inexpensive and hold the road really well, just make sure you rotate. Being a perfomance tire they will suffer from heel/toe wear.

From the title I thought you were bringing one of the local girls home from Manta. lol

Ha ha, not even close, although the bartender has a crush on me.

Ed, looking at yours in Dallas is why I got these. I really liked the tread pattern.

Nah, she's just playin ya, Larry, tryin to keep you comin back leaving bigger and bigger tips ;)

Tires look good. No burnout videos disposing of the old ones?

My dad refuses to do burnouts in my truck. Actually, he babies the hell out of her. Probably a good thing. If I was at home, there'd be some vids. But this was just one of those things I needed to get done before I got home. I'm taking 2 trips to Missouri from Kansas for New Years, but I only have about a week and a half in the States, and the old tires wouldn't have made another trip.

Oh, and it's the bartender at the Air Force club on base. So she knows I'll always come back.

I have those on my FX 35. Great tire, good treadwear and a very aggressive look. I'll be putting them on my '07 when it comes time to get new tires.
