Spacers, can you combine 1.25 and make 2.5

Hi all,



I ordered one set of 1.5" spacers from e-bay and i already have 1.25" on all 4 tires on my ST.



Can i combine the 2 1.25" coming out of the tires and place them on the back tires making an spacer that will equal to 2.5"?



Any recommendations?

you might run into a stress issue. im sure other will chime in. also, those tires are going to sit out pretty wide...almost too wide maybe. you will definitely need fender flares if you dont have them already.

I only order one set of 1.5 so i am asking if I can do combine the two sets of 1.25 and not ending getting rid of these.

I would not recommend it only because I think the torque on the mounting flange on the smaller spacer may be above the design limit... The spacers are only held on by about 12 inch aluminum, I don't think that the inside spacer is designed to Handel that load....
