Speaker Sizes - Front and Back

Hello. I have a 2003 Sport Trac XLT. It came with the standard CD player. I've since upgraded the CD Player but am now wanting to upgrade the stock speakers.



I'm thinking that a 5x7/6x8 speaker will fit in both the front and rear doors.



I'm looking at getting the Alpine SPS 570A for both the front and back.



Will this size - the 5x7/6x8 work and does anyone know anything about this particular speaker?



I'm not looking for spend a fortune but do want something a little bit better than the cheapest out there.

According to crutchfield.com, those will fit.



My experience with Alpine speakers has been good, but I haven't actually purchased that model speaker. I have been eyeing them myself, for my ST.

I got two sets of Kicker 6x8's for mine and they fit perfectly.

I have two sets of those EXACT speakers in my ST with an alpine MRP-F240 running them. I did dynamats my doors competely when I installed too.. They sound great, but I don't know how great they would sound without the amp, I get a lot of midbass from them.



I would definatly recommend them.
