Speaker Wires

Just received new Fosgates to replace my OEM Speakers.



Truck is a 2001 Job 2.



I will be soldering the speakers wires tomorrow (i.e., cutting off the Ford connector). There are two wires ending at his conenctor, one is tan and one is orange/redish).



Question: Is the tan GND and the Orange PWR?

Wave if i'm not wrong, look on the right side of the factory speaker. The positive terminal is on the right side of the magnet. Look on the plug of the speaker and that will tell you which color is positive. Hope this helps! Later,Riley
