Help! My brakes continue to squeak. I've taken off the tire and looked at the front pads and they seem to have enough meat on them. I replaced the pads and rotors about 12,000 miles ago. What else could it be? joycie:blink::huh:

I've got that same problem. So far I've put about 2500 miles on mine (2002 w/ 24,000 total miles), and I can't figure it out. Dealership took a look at it and same thing. Do you notice your front rims collect a lot of brake dust in a short amount of time? Mine certainly do.

Sometimes the brake pads get to a hard spot in the pad and they will continue to squeel. My brakes did this and I changed them with a set of carbon metallic, problem solved.

Go to Advance Auto. Mine were squeeking like hell after putting new brake shoes and slot and drilled rotors on. I changed to ceramic pads and put on thier brake grease in the small packets on thier front counter and have not heard a churp from them since.(2 months ago);)

Mike....I run the Kleen-wheels on my Trac...they are disc that are designed specific to your wheel...they do a good job, keeping the brake dust off the outside of the wheels..
