Went to my local grocery store to pick up some goodies, when I came out to leave truck wouldn't turn over. When I jumped it still didn't turn over. Any simple tricks to make sure it is the starter. If it is the starter is the starter are they easy to replace? Or better yet is it something I can change in a grocery store parking lot? Any info is helpful. By the way I did move the gear shift from park to drive and back just to make sure nothing was hung up. :(:(

Step one: Club it like a baby seal with a rubber mallet.

Step two: Try to start it again.

The rest of the steps will be disclosed if one and two don't work.

Dont hit to hard. You will shatter the permanent magnets in the housing..

Did you check the connections at both ends of the positive.

Battery might have konked out.
