starting problem

just bought a 08 trac it does not turn over unless i take battery terminals off for 30 min then put back on everytime i shut it off any suggestions on what to do

Suggest the following: 1) Check integrity of positive and ground connections from battery to the starter. You could have loose cable or corrosion. 2) Stop by Sears Auto Center or Interstate Battery store and get your battery checked. If you've got original battery it's not unexpected that it may be on its way out. I live in N Central Texas, and I've had several 3-4 year old car batteries crump with little or no warning.

its not the battery took one out of my brother in laws ranger no change

My guess is something wrong with the PATS system. Battery disconect is causing reset.

Try a different Key.

just back from garage had broken wire in the harness when disconected battery must of moved them just enough to start
