First: Remove the overhead console by squeezing on the sides and pulling
down. The back end is held in place by the moon roof trim. Pull back on
the trim and the whole console hangs OK via the wire harness.
Second: Pull the radar detector wire up under the foam trim. On the way
up, I did a loop around the mirror to minimize wire slack.<P>
Third; Fold or peel back the black tape on the incoming wire harness.
The ground wire from the radar detector is attached to one of the two
plainly visible screws once you remove the console (see insert) and the
power is obtained from a light gray/yellow stripped wire (between a black
and a dark gray/black stripped wire) on the overhead harness. Be sure
to install the appropriate in line fuse for your radar detector.

Fourth: Push back the overhead console in place, moon roof end first,
making sure wires are not crimped and you are done, 45 minutes all in
