steering stops

hi,

i just want to ask if it is posible to extend the front steering stops. i have 275/70 16 tires and on full turns it rubs on the sway bars. do i try to remove the bolt looking thing on the a- arm and change to a loonger one? can it be removed in the first place?

It is welded on my truck, You could weld on longer ones, BUT be careful if you hit them making a turn and continue to hold the steering wheel tight, you will damage the pump...

...so as it is now, with the tire occassionaly hitting the stab bar, i am damaging the pump if the steering is held tight on a full turn
