Sticky shifting from Park to Drive

Does anyone know which switch electrically releases the column gear lever in an /03 trac? I am guessing it is the one at the base of the brake pedal stem but could use some direction. Went to leave for work this morning and it was a 5 minute battle to drive away:angry:. TIA

put it in nuetual then start it i did that for awhile when mine was acting up

Thanks I have it started, I am looking to fix it. So was hoping someone could tell me which switch sends the signal. TIA

The BPP (Brake Pedal Position) Switch is what signals the Interlock Solenoid.

Thx Steve, very helpful. Even gave me the name of the part. Funny thing is Ford calls it like 3 different things on the same page of their parts book LOL.
