Hey guys, I need some tips with my cover.

First off, the passenger-side rubber piece at the edge of the hinge fell out. I found the piece in a mess of spearmint, but I haven't tried to put it back on yet. Anything I need to know?

More importantly, the driver-side of the cover does not lock. The passenger side does, which makes the cover effectively lock, but 50% isn't good enough. The "claws" that lock around the bar on the brackets to keep the cover down do Not lock when pushed back, on the drivers' side.

On the passenger (working) side, if I push these claws all the way back (into the cover) by hand, there is a "click" and then they will not move unless I release them with the key. On the drivers side, there is no click when I do the same thing, and the suckers do not stay locked.

...also, my tailgate doesn't always lock when I lock it. That's an issue.

I've spent a lot of time with the gate down and the cover off, and now that I'm trying to close up, it doesn't want to happen :(

I think the mounts (the part of the latch that stays attached to the truck are adjustable up and down. I believe it take a 10mm socket. Loosen the one at the corner that does not latch and slide it up, then tighten back down. Don't go too far or the lid will not seal down and prevent water from coming in...
