Strange click from gear shifter

It started tonight, when I pressed on the brake to shift out of park the button on the shifter moved and "clicked". I know about the brake engagement thing before you shift, but I've never heard and felt it in the shifter before. Never heard it on any vehicle I've owned in the past. Could something be going bad? Anybody else have or notice this? Bob

yep....have it on ours. I thought it would get fixed with the gear recall, but didnt. Doesnt bother me anymore...

Ya, my 07 started doing that last year, then would not come out of park, ended up getting the entire shifter assembly replaced under waranty. Still has a slight click to it but you don't notice it unless you think about it.
