Stuck Lock

Hello folks. I have reached the point that many of you have already passed on here. I am having issues with the door lock on my 01 sporttrac. The drivers side door will not lock, whether it be by keychain click, manual pushing the knob in, or with the key in the keyhole. There have been several posts on here and many mention a project and some photos of what to fix. Does anyone have these and are you willing to share? I know one post said Dennis had some pics. If you read this and can help, I would appreciate it. Any assistance in any form would be deeply appreciated.

Sounds like either a stuck actuator or the latch has gone bad. Both are common on Explorers and Sport Tracs.
