Hello fellow enthusiasts, I am having a bit of trouble installing a Rockford Fosgate P3L-S12 enclosure. It fits perfectly however, the woofer surround just barely touches the rear seat. I am wondering if this will hurt the sound quality of the woofer, and can you think of any way to alleviate the woofer from touching the rear seat? any input will be deeply appreciated.

Julian :D

Yes but typically the seats have a little bit of give to them.. I had some old RF P1's a few years ago that had thick mounting rings that worked like a grill.. You could see right where the ring was on the seat :)

lol that's starting to happen to the seat now. I just wanted to be sure that the seat wouldn't be damaged. I appreciate the advice, I'll pick up one of those grills from work. :D
