Sync Issues

Sometimes, I get static when using the Bluetooth Audio, this is after the dealer replaced my HVAC control panel. Does anyone here who has had the dash apart know if the Bluetooth module is separate from the Audio head unit, and if so, can the connector come loose easily or have very very small wires?



Also, sometimes it does not automatically sync the i-phone when I get in the truck, but when I tell it to, it says it is not present, but will find one, then has no problem. Is there a software update for this?

chr$, I've found Ford's SYNC website somewhat helpful. It's also very tedious - which is expected as it's a Microsoft collaboration. Reminds me of days past (yet some present) when I was trying to learn Windows.

also on the sync site there is a little app that can change the default sync voice's volume. it's way too loud stock. check out the site and create a profile to find if your sync system has any updates that can be applied.
