Taurus X (previously Freestyle) now up on Ford's website

I've always thought these were pretty nice, although conservative. It got some appearance updates but most importantly a stronger 260Hp engine. Next to the upcoming Flex though, why would one "settle" for the Taurus-X? I think the Flex is just as roomy and versatile, and as powerful, but looks so much trendier.

I to thought they were always a pretty nice vehicle. I just don't get the "name" thing. I liked the name "Fusion", "Freestyle", etc. Now everything is going to be "Taurus". WHY?! Just because some people are to stupid to know that things change? I thought the new names were fresh and creative. Nothing creative about "Taurus". They don't even look anything like the "Taurus's" of old. Bold move Ford.:wacko:

Oh yeah, me too! I wouldn't give my Trac up to anything other than a new Sport Trac or F150.

The Ford FIVEHUNDRED in now the Taurus, and the Freestyle in now the Taurus X - Go figure.

Nice! I'm sure the renaming of the Freestyle and Five Hundred to Tauras-X and Tauras will pull them out of the 12 billion in the red with these models.
