By winning 30 to 3 over Baltimore. Yup, head it on the radio this evening and just checked mlb.com. First time ever 30 runs were scored in 9 innings of play.
We drown our MLB embarassments in National Bohemian. A crappy town, a crappy drink, a crappy baseball team, crappy mayor, a crappy... I could go on and on about why I hate my hometown. Were Baltimore and we suck.
Small technicality, but that statement isn't true. The Chicago Colts scored 36 in a nine-innning game in 1897. That's both the record, and the most recent 30+ run game. Although this obviously doesn't diminish how impressive it was.
