I just want to say THANKS for everyone who has helped me out with my ST. Unfortunately, I've traded it in for a 2005 Ford Focus wagon. The only reason for that was because of gas prices. We need to save as much as we can since our 3rd child is on it's way. It was a hard decision but I think it is a wise one. When my wife work goes back to work and when we have more money coming in, we can then decide if we should get a truck again or not and if we do, it will be another ST. Really love that truck.

Anyway, thanks again everyone for your wise advise and wisdom. Will definitely stop by now and then to check out what's new.

Bye for now.

Good luck...

Geeez! I hope this is not a trend! Anyone remember when gas prices shot up in the mid '70's and alot of people panicked and dumped their gas guzzlers and bought econo cars? Then the bottom fell out of the large, comfy car resale market and little cars ruled price wise. Well- when all the phony predictions/lies of "No more cheap gas becuz we are running out" were over- People went back to the larger vehicles and econo cars went for a song. Sure-we all know that gas will never be 75 cents a gallon again- BUT isn't the latest gas price inflation the same idea- Different causes- same results-driven by the same motives? Corporate greed still rules! Hang on to your ST's Better days are coming!

Better days are coming!

Gas got down to $2.29 today. Still, if it stays around $2/gal I'll go back to a 3.0/stick Ranger 4x4 next time. Had one before, slow as molassas but good on gas. And my gas is mostly a write-off. Still gotta pay for it first though.
