:supercool::banana::haveabeer:Yeah, that's right!!! Gonna be a hard game but can't wait. I guess Santonio Holmes can shut the hell up now:bwahaha::smack:

congrats

just watched the game and the jets lose. got interesting after the saftey, but the jets couldn't do it with the opportunity.

NYJ: guts, dedication, team play, big mouth confidence. imo, not a superbowl team, but i was pulling for them even though i was pissed at the cheap shot trip.

steeler fans best of luck :haveabeer:

btw: de' feet :bwahaha:

You mean the NJ Jets, right, just like the NJ Giants, their not in NY so NY shouldn't get the name and or credit. JMO. Packers are gonna be a hard team to play against but I think the Steelers can and will pull it off.

agree, i do have an issue with the ny/nj thing.

it has come to dollars, unfortunately the state nj does not sell as well as ny.

i suffer that stigma with my nj nets

Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow your roll there fella's. You do realize they have to play the Packers? It is definately the two best teams in the bowl, but who do you bet is favoured? You've got one more game to go, and its going to be really close. So before you go crazy about the Steelers, look at who they're playing!! God, I miss Lombardi, at least I can go to his grave and pray. Bob

The sliding rear window on Sport Tracs is an excellent place to fly a Steelers window flag from.

Good tip Johnny. I have to buy all Steelers gear online or get it sent from my family in PA. I may have to buy one today.

Bo, I laughed my ass off when he did that during the game !!! great job finding that for all to see, I was gonna search for it today.:bwahaha:

I agree Bob C., it's gonna be one of the hardest playing SuperBowls in a long time, I live in Pittsburgh three miles away from the stadium and I don't even have to have the volume on on the tv to listen to the game. :haveabeer::banana::supercool:

LOL.... Jerry,

Get any season tickets ???..... LOL 4 would be nice !!!

Todd Z

Todd Z, My mother-in-law had season tickets for over 20 years with three of her friends but with the economy and her keep getting laid off again and again over the past two years she had to give them up. My wife and I would go to a couple games a year with their tickets when they had to work. My wife went to the last three season games with her co-worker because she has season tickets and since her son is in college now lokks like my wife will go to most of them from now on with her.:haveabeer:

Only thing with flying a Steelers flag from the back window is that you must remember to remove it before pulling into your garage. I know this. I also have had the large Steeler Nation see-through logo in the middle of the back window and an "N@" oval sticker for quite a while.

N@ is a 'Burgh thing. Gets me a lot of waves when I'm in FL.

Jerry, good luck in the game--but I obviously hope that my Packers win!!! :supercool: My truck is all decked out with Green 'n' Gold flags, magnets, etc., this morning.

Although the Steelers have always been my second-favorite team in the league. My mom was a high-school classmate of Rocky Bleier at Appleton (WI) Xavier. (Although they barely saw each other in school, as it was gender-segregated at the time.)

But it's good to know that, even if the Steelers win, the Packers will still have a 5-championship lead! :supercool::bwahaha::supercool:

And besides that--as a Packers fan, our "Super Bowl" was yesterday. We can get blown out of the water 77-0 in two weeks, who cares. All that matters is--THE BEARS LOST!!!!

Watching the Jets botch their comeback, it was like the Ravens played the Steelers.

Personally I find the idea of "Steeler Nation" hilarious. That's what, 2 and a half states, at most?

Being in a "Steeler Nation" Border State, I have to go with the Packers, despite no real love of Green Bay.

The "booger wipe" video was hilarious.

Upside, the two teams with the largest and most loyal fan bases in the country are meeting in the Super Bowl. Be good for merchandise sales.

Not at all. Steeler fans are everywhere, mostly because of the large number of people who left here in the 1980's when the economy evaporated (if I had to live my life over, I would've moved to FL in 1983 when I had the chance). Hence my siggy that I've had here for 5 years. Two years ago the nation woke up with the economy that Pittsburgh has had for 30 years and suddenly it's a crisis. When the Steelers play in Charlotte, Jacksonville, D.C., Miami, and Tampa, it looks like a home game.

Here, this will fill you in. About 20 minutes long but it's pretty good.

By the way, I need to clarify--when I say "my" Packers, I literally mean "MY" Packers. Yes, I am part owner of an NFL franchise. How many Steeler (or any other team) fans can make THAT claim???

:grin::bwahaha::grin::bwahaha::grin:

That's a good deal Bill V. :supercool:

Does that mean you have to shovel snow out of the bleachers for home games? :bwahaha:
