Just got back from the Ford dealer. He did a second option-type check of my front end alignment. Apparently, I need a camber-caster adjustment kit on the left control arm. WTF? I gave the garage that did my last alignment a Moog K80065 Cam Bolt Kit.

Did the previous garage install the kit? Or just say they did.

You might have had a lazy mechanic. That is why your tire wore out again.

TWO kits needed. The "garage" only installed the passenger side?

They only installed the passenger side kit.

Left front camber: 0.2 degrees

Left front caster: 4.2 degrees

There we go.

Left front toe: 0.15

Right front camber: -0.6

Right front camber: 4.2

Right front toe: 0.10

Total toe: 0.25

Steer ahead 0.03

Something's not right. Right camber is 4.2 degrees with left inside tire wear? :banghead:

Today, I finally got in to to tweak my front end alignment. The place where I bought my new tires reportedly has "the best front end guy in the county" and his and my schedules finally matched up... a Sunday morning, of all times. All I needed was a left front tow-in adjustment. He allotted 90 minutes for the job, but it only took 15 minutes, so he gave me a 50% discount on the front end alignment. Since I was paying with a gift card I'd received when I bought my new tires, I had enough left over to buy a few small tools that I needed.
