This may not be appropriate for the board but I have not been on a while. This is a photo of the only flag I could find to buy on September 12th 2001. They were all sold out everywhere. It flew over my street until it was tattered and torn. I just think it's a cool photo and wanted to remember. Is it wrong? Thanks to all that have served. Especially my dad in WWII.

I still have my 9/11 flag. It is rolled up and stored in my man-cave. It is tattered, dirty and faded.

But still it remains. Just like the country it represents.

Man I wished I would have kept ours. Looking back I thought it would never mean much but I was sadly mistaken. I was proud to have a 20 year old from the army over yesterday that had a huge 9/11 tattoo on his shoulder. It meant a lot to me. I still have my America remembers plates on my 2001 Trac. They are supposed to donate $20.00 a year to the families if the state of Illinois hasn't stolen it from the fund.

Ever since that day whenever one of us(wife and daughters) notice its 9:11 on any clock where ever we may be we bow our heads for a quick prayer specifically for the family's that lost a loved one that day. We will never forget.

I always Flew My US Flag.. Way before the 9/11

right below.. was the M.I.A and USAF flags along with it..

the only thing I hated about after 9/11 was all the torn and tatered flag form cars I saw along the roadside.. People just didnt take care to remove and replace before they fell off.
