Funny, but what a dumba$$. Its asolutely amazing what alcohol can make people do. I know, cause I have firsthand experience with a friend(not anymore), beer, empty cans and a .22 rifle. At least the bullet went straight through my arm. Imagine what I had to say to the ER Doctor when he said "this looks like a gunshot wound" Ridiculous. Bob

Bob C. There was a weird news story that I read last week, 2 buddies in Vt were rooming together, I think at a hotel. One of them fell asleep so the other guy thought he'd scare his buddy awake by shooting him w/ a air pellet gun/air soft gun, but it turns out he grabbed a .22 pistol and killed his friend w/ 1 shot. I'm guessing alcohol was involved on that one.



As for the title of the post, I thought there would be a reference to the SNL skit for the Jiffy Pop Air bag from the 90's:bwahaha:

Wow! If that did that to him after hitting him in the ass, just imagine what it would be like having that hit you in the face during a collision. Then imagine what would have happended if you did not have the airbag?? I would say that we are dealing with some very serious impact forces.



In reality, the airbag is not designed to hit you in the face, but to inflate during a collision, before you actually hit the air bag and you hit it after it is inflated...but the impact is still very violent and is why they don't like children sitting in the front seats equipted with airbags.



I recall and incident many years ago when air bags first started to be put in cars. A woman was involved in a small fender-bender that deployed her airbag. To insure that the airbag inflates fully and quickly, they are coated with a substance like talcum powder to act as a dry lubricant. The fire/rescue team arrived at the scene and saw the woman completely coated in this white powder, and they thought it might be a bia-hazard, so they hosed her down with the fire hoses, and then decontaminated her...:grin: as if she was coated with anthraxs or something. I realize they did not know what the powder was, but it was a funny story.
