Third Brake Light

I have noticed on other sport tracs that when they use their keyless

entry remote to unlock the doors, the two white lights on the third

brake light come on, as well as reversing, and just opening any door.

Is there a rewiring process that i can do on my '01 STto have this option?

because mine only come on when i manually turn on my indome lights.

This changes every few years. And yes, others have done a rewire to do what you are after.



I am not able to do a search from where I am to find the info off-hand, hopefully someone will chime in for you.

I wish the bed lights would come on with a switch instead of with the inside lights. That way I can look in the mirror at the bed while driving to see if something is flapping around back there. The inside lights make that impossible. I would like it, but always forget about it when I have time to actually do it!
