I know that this question has been asked before, but I really want to avoid tire rub and increase tire size on my trac. I was on discount tire and found a set of Nitto Terra Grappler ATs 255/55r-18. Anyone running larger 18's with no tire rub? I thought I found someone using 265/55.

I've been happy with my Hankook tires, anybody have any experience with Nitto?

And I was thinking of replacing my wheels with ones from black rhino, and I've read about "wheel offset" on the boards. Should I be worried about replacing my stock wheels?

Wheel width and offset will play big part of fittment.

Im running 265/60-18 on my '04. My 18" wheels are 8.5" wide and 0 offset. They fit very well. Im at stock hieght.

The OEM 16" wheels are 7" wide and 12mm offset. the oe tires are 30.1" diameter.

But I just checked your profile. You have a gen 2 trac. Whole different ballgame fittment.

You need to finnish your profile so we know if you are gen 1 or 2 trac. Or tell us what year you have.

Popular question lately! Still working on getting my wheels and tires for winter, Eddie is right with the 30.1 diameter, even on the adrenalin with the 20 inch rim and 255/50/20 is still at 30.1. Im going to 236/65/18 for the winter with rims off of a 07 limited, and that puts me at the same diameter. Eddie is a great asset to this website!
