I don't want to beat a dead horse but I wanted to know if anybody had the same cupping problem on other brands of tires or if the problem went away, permanently, after replacement with a different brand. I'm getting really annoyed by the noise they make but if changing the tires wont fix the problem, then I'll just wait until they need replacing. I changed the shocks but the damage was done(if that caused it). If it is a Goodyear thing only then I might have to replace them early. I hate all the noise and vibration!

i always wondered what sfced was but now i know after looking at your pics. E-7. where you at and what do you do. i am over here at ft rucker. in the back ground i saw something about a 64. i am just wondering and i like the caveman pic.:D

I replaced my shocks on my '04 at 1500miles. The factory wranglers are still cupping. I hope it is the tires. I dont like their wet performance anyway....

Just had the same shocks installed and alignment checked for $193.00 at Sears. They said one front tire was slightly cambered on my 02 but not enough to worry. They had camber kits for $ 60.00 installed. That's $ 253.00 for kit and very good shocks. The alignment causes cupping, not the tires, they get cupped from bad shocks or alignment. My Trac drives like a dream now.

Thanks for the replies I guess I'll wait until they need replaced and have the alignment checked. I dont think it's the bearings because all four would have to be bad at the same time. Thanks Shawn C. someday my ST would look as good as some I've seen here and Chris I'm at Hunter AAF. I work on Apaches. A lot of people think SFC is for San Francisco City and ask me what part, it's funny. What do you do at Rucker?

I went to Michelin LTX M/S and haven't had an issue since. The manager at the tire shop (a family owned/operated shop since the 60s). Said the Goodyear tire on the Trac "was not very forgiving" and cupped easily.
