Aloha guys,

I found a junk yard the other day. I will go over and get a jack and that gizmo that lowers the spare. The question is will any explorer jack and gizmo fit my 2002 Sport Track or do I need to be year and model specific?

Don't know what year Explorer jack will fit, but the "gizmo" not only releases the spare, it also drives the jack.

The end of the gizmo is flat with a hook, 1/2 inch wide, 1/8th inch thick, one inch long.

Not really a precision tool, anything close should work.

I got the jack and all from a 2000 EX fits the 2001 ST well .

All the 95-01 Ex's and ST's use basically the same jack and tools and I think the 91-94 Ex's were the same as well. Pretty funny though, as I had just hit up a local junk yard near me on Tuesday to replace the missing tools from my truck before I left on my road trip.
