Has anybody with a Scangage ever done testing on tire air pressure and how it relates to fuel mileage?

For instance back-to-back, same road, same speed type test?

I was wondering how much better mileage one would get with higher tire pressure (or conversely, worse with low...).

It has been proven time and again that it will considerably help mileage. If someone (who will go unnamed :D) will ever get me an answer on purchasing a ScanGauge, I'll be glad to do a few tests and report the results.

No Scangauge but I had a low tire on my Saturn and it was only getting 21 MPG on the Highway with a little city driving?? Had the leak fixed and the tire inflated to 30 PSI to match the rest of the tires, and mileage jumped to 28 MPG on the same trip a week later.

You should keep the Sport Trac tires inflated between 33-35 PSI for normal driving even higher if you are towing orcarrying a lot of weight in the bed.

I run my trac at 34psi all around...

my wifes escape says 30psi but I go with 33psi all around...
