I am looking to replace my tires on my truck and looking for something a little more off road looking and I want to go a bit bigger than stock

What is the larges rubber I can put on the stock rims with my truck at the stock hight and what is the biggest rubber I can but on if I do the shacker/TT lift I do not want to buy new rims but want a higher ride for when I am in the Bush and at work

I have a stock 2002 4X4 st.

Thanks Baker

Assuming you want to keep the stock 16" rims, you can fit a 265/70-16 or 265/75-16 stock with maybe a pinch of TT, or a 285/75-16 with TT/shackles, however IMHO the stock 16x7 rims are too narrow for a 285 and they should be on an 8".

I just put new tires on mine and I went with the 265/75/16. They are about 1 1/2" taller than the stock ones. When the wheel is cut all the way, you only have about an inch of clearance or at least that's what the guy told me that put them on. I was also told that when putting on the bigger tire I have to get my speedometer recalibrated. It is off by about 7 mph.:D
