I've got 42K on the 07 ST V8 with 235 x 65 x 18 Michelin Cross Terrains that came with the truck. I want to jump up in size.. Who's gone to what on the stock 18" rims?

I'm looking at 265 x 60 x 18" in several different brands. Will they fit without rubbing? Will 255 x 60 x 18's work better. 245 x 60 x 18's doesn't seem like much of a jump. Rim width is within a 1/2" of being right.

Yhis is the tire I have on my '04. They are quiet, ride good and good traction. They are 265/60-18 Cooper Discover HT Plus. I really like them. About 10K on them and show no wear. The cost was about $125 per tire before balance and stems. I got them at pep-boys. They messed up my rims though. Next set will come from another cooper dealer.

When i bought my 07 it had 255/70/18 on it and the filled the wheel wells but fit fine and ended up with a 265/70/18 after the lift. I would say the 265/60/18 would be fine as its smaller than waht I originally had on mine.

265 is as wide as you want to go IMO, I could get my fingers between the 255 and the upper control arm, but with the 265 its even tighter.

Hey Dunk, I had 285-55's on my '07 and there was a slight tire rub at left lock, the things about this size is that they are the same diamater as your stock size but they are about 2.5'' wider, but these same tires on my '10 did not rub at all, but they are only made by about 3 manufactuers and they get loud when they get better than half way wore out. I loved these tires because they looked so good, but hated the noise. I am presently running 275-60's now, they are about 1.5'' wider but 1/2'' taller, which makes your speedo about 5% slow, which if you have an x-cal 3 you can change the speedo.
