I applaud Allen, and Gates, for indulging in their desires. They helped shape the very world we live in. We live in the Technology Age, and our kids are of the Internet Generation. Helped in no small way by Allen and Gates. Why shouldn't a fellow who earned the right to splurge do so?

Allen is a bit short on the world's largest yacht. Allen's Octopus is only 126 meters, while the Sheikh of Dubai has a yacht stretching over 160 meters. The Octopus is #5 by length. Number 4 is American owned, but the top three are all Middle Eastern, and heads of state. Not saying anything, just observing.
