Todd, keypad lock

Todd, you said if you lock your truck with the keys in it and running the key pad dosn't work. I never knew that so I tried mine today. Left the truck running and locked the doors. Punched in the code and the truck unlocked. Mine is a 2001, job 2. So this may not be the case with all model years. Everyone might want to check their ST to see if it works for them

i was able to do that with my 04 but my 07 will not allow you to lock the doors with the motor running

My 2002 works with the engine in running in park.

My 2001 job 2 does it in park and in gear i find myself playing with it in the drive thru.

My '01 unlocked with it running and so does my '07. Just in case anyone wanted to know.
