Todd, looked and looked , but no hole to take the stud out. Looks like the hub nut has to come off. Of course no 1 1/4 deep socket. Are those rear CV joints in the Escape. Just need to know what's going to come apart when I take it off. Thanks!

That stinks, BUT is there enough room to simply hit the old out and slide in the new?? They should be able to do that without taking off the hub....



If not, Remove the axle nut and the 3 or 4 bolts holding on the hub....

Just the axle.... the hub is bolted to the spindel....
