About a week ago I decided to do a Google search AGAIN for the elusive 1L5Z-3543262-BB lock assembly for the early factory tonneau cover. Much to my surprise I found it to be listed as available through more than one Ford parts source! I ordered one from Cheaper Ford Parts out of Sacramento, CA and it arrived today. Cost was just shy of $70 but with shipping/handling/taxes the total was just shy of $100. I've attached some pics of just what's included. You will need to have it keyed. I believe this assembly would work for the 2001-2005 ST but am not sure about later years. Those might use a different cylinder. This is a much needed item if your existing lock is beyond repair or missing. Just type in the part number on Google and you'll see some dealerships come up associated with that number.
