Tonneau cover wont latch

Hey just dusted off my cover for my gen 1 ST. Tried to put it on and the front latches will not catch. Rear one is fine. Any trick to this? Would look it up but cant locate owners manual at the moment. Thanks!

i have had this issue before, spray the moving parts in the latch with some wd-40 and use your finger to operate the release a few times. try to close the latch with your finger and then release it. might work for you

I have the same issue too. The WD-40 will help, but it will only happen again. Whenever I open my cover, front or back part, I stick my finger in and tug on the wire. (insert joke here lol) They will latch for me then. Sorry I don't have pics.
