Tonneau Cover

My Tonneau Cover is stuck on the back of my truck. I can open the back lid. I cannot open the front lid. I tried pulling the emergency escape handle. I pulled that handle and wire out of the latch assembly. What should I do next?

You could try unbolting the mounting hardware from the truck the figure out what happened while it's off the truck.

Which parts should I unbolt? Where are they located? Is it the 2 area near the front of the bed? I will have to look in the bed of the truck.

What I did to get mine open (I bought a used one w/o keys and the locks were closed) I used a flat screwdriver and pried the open.

Try to get someone to help you lift the corner you are opening.

As far as the mounting hardware, in retrospect, I'm not sure if you can get to them with the lid down in the close position but this is a picture of the strikers bolted to the truck (upper right ) There are 2 in the front.
