Topper/cap

I have an 02 silver ST. Ive been looking around for a topper for awhile and all the CL ads seem to be too far to go. (Im in n.e. ohio) Ive been thinking about trying to find one from another vehicle that would fit. I only need 1 for occasional use and thought about seeing if 1 from a crew cab Ranger would work with my tailgate down and fabbing up a box that would bolt to the tailgate for it to rest on and seal against. I figured before i did that it would be a good idea to check if any other topper applications would fit. Any ideas? Ive heard f150 flare sides might work. Thanks.

Where abouts in Ohio are you? I found mine on CL last year for $350. I'll look tomorrow and see what I can find, I'm really good at finding ST stuff. How far is your limit? nline:

You won't find many used ones because they never sold many new ones. I've seen one Trac locally with a cap, ever. I don't think the F150 cap would work. I've read that the tailgate may be the same but I'm thinking that the Trac bed is shorter.

Well the reason i posted this was b/c i had found one in MI but thought the guy flaked on me. He called me today and I went and picked it up. 300 bucks but he didnt have the mounting hardware or key like he said. But it should be no problem to pick those up. A.R.E cap with sliders and a window on top. The inside of it is carpeted too so im pretty pumped.

Glad to here you found one. You can go to any Trailer/ truck cap place and get the clamps as well as another lock mechanism.
