my hopes and prayers are with those who got hit by that storm. i can only pray nobody got hurt or worse.-paul:(

The local news states no one was injured. Later photos showed small planes scattered about. The few tornadoes they showed were going through open fields. It appears these photos show the biggest damage so far.

El Reno, Oklahoma is in Canadian County, which is just west of Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties. I guess the county is named after the Canadian River, which passes through Oklahoma City.

The live action video is on cnn.com if someone would like to see it.

It came within about 15 miles of my house, close enough I began to watch weather reports in case we had to take cover.

Tornadoes of this size don't usually do much damage compared to the monster F-5 back in '99, but they will do some severe damage in a direct hit as you can see. There were a number of planes damaged in this airport hangar.

I just saw a report about these in Canadian County on The Weather Channel. They said it was quite unusual because the tornado was rotating Clockwise. They said about 1 in 1000 in Northern hemisphere do that. Kind of interesting!

We were preparing for the worst as well. We aren't too far from Canadian County, that storm was heading straight towards us until it took a turn to the Northeast and weakened.
