tow hitch class 3

Before I buy a sport track does the class 3 tow package change the cofiguration of the transmission or rear end ? I prefer class 3 . on the 4x4 does the rear end have a locking diferential like GM. Sorry this will be my first Ford prouduct . Cheers.

No, the only difference is the hitch and the added 7 pin wiring connector.

Gen 2 Sport Tracs do not have a locker or limited-slip available because they have traction control instead.
