Our 2nd gen. ST v8’s have great towing capacity, but a lot of sag in the coil spring suspension. Eleven when using a weight distribution hitch my truck sags down 2-3” vs. a the proper 0-0.5”.

Has anyone found a way to counter this? Heavier duty rear coil springs, air bags, etc.?

Or maybe go with a small lift strut, I know it will raise the rear when not towing, but will sit flat when loaded, or the BEST is the new spring for the extra weight.
Air bags I dont think are made for these.

A weight distribution hitch works very well to shift some of the weight to the front of the vehicle and level things up.
