I have a hook-up for Toyo Proxes S/T and Michelin Cross Terrain tires. I'm thinking of going either 275/70R16 or 265/70R16. I would've preferred Goodyear Fortera Silent Armors but this type is not available. I have a 2WD on stock rims and stock height. Which do you folks recommend for all highway driving. I'd like pics too, so please post 'em if you got 'em. Thanks!

Nope, no hook-up on Bridgestones. Was looking into that brand though. Good to know about the Michelins being similar to the Silent Armors.

Have a safe trip to Anaheim BTW.

I've got 275/70R16 Michelin Croos terrains and I love 'em. They ride great on wet or dry highways. The pics arn't great but thier the best i have [Broken External Image]: [Broken External Image]:

oh yeah thier pretty good offroad too ;)

Flip, I had the Mich's on mine before I got the Hurcules brand that I have on now. They were pretty nice. Smooth ride and all. No complaints about them. You could have a rubbing issue with the 265's without a TT being done. I have 245/75's on mine (about the same hight as the 265/70's) with some minor rubbing at sharp turns and I'm at stock height.;)

Cool, simultaneous post. Thanks for the info Stone.

Mr Rugby, any rubbing on yours? You at stock height?

Michelin. I have LTX M/S 265/75R 16 & I love the ride and handling.:)

I had Michelin Cross Terrains in stock size (255/70/16). Great tires all around in rain, snow, and offroad. I got about 50K miles out of them before I needed new ones.

Sorry, I knew I forgot something, yes they do rub at full turn at stock height. They rub on the front sway bar, not much but they do rub. They also might rub on the inner wheel well at the back but I have 1.25" spacers. Hopefully someone can chime in about the back.

I put the Michellin SUV Cross-Terrains on my wife's Liberty. They have been absolutely flawless and still look like new with 20,000 miles on them. I got them because they were rated really well on TireRack.com's survey data, and I got a great price on them at the local Ford dealer. They are very quiet, very smooth, and wear like iron. No cupping or strange wear patterns despite not being rotated at all. They look a little wimpy for off-road use, but I would imagine that they would do OK except in deep mud.

I have the GY Fortera Silent Armor tires in OEM size P25570R16. They ride great on the highway. Much more quiet, and they handle beautifully. Great traction on wet pavment. Well worth the $$$.
