My ABS light has been on since the dyno in Louisville. Took it in for service and the dealer has been trying to fix it for 2 days now. They changed the ABS module which they say tested bad. Took it for a test drive and it was fine until they got back to the shop and the light came on again. I read a lot of post in the search section but anyone else had this problem? If so what are some of the causes that where found? Thanks.

I don't know how it works with the ST, but on my Monte Carlo (and a common problem on all W-Bodies) the light would come on when my battery was low or when the alternator was bad. The ABS takes a lot to run and if you don't have the juice it would trigger the light. Ask them if that might be the case for the ST too.

I don't know what they did. The next thing they were going to do was check for a wiring problem. Thanks for the responses.

gary, i know it stinks leaving your trac at the dealer to fix a problem you thought was resolved.

i had a similar experience when i went to pick mine up after a "new" tranny only to find

more tranny issues. it was resolved after a week. i know you are as anal as me, i hope you have plenty of plastic on the seats so they don't grease it all up !

best of luck !
