Is our tranny fluid supposed to be completely odorless?

Would that be like sour grape bubble gum?



Actually it depends on your sense of smell. Most people don't detect an oder while others like Todd say it has a sweat smell.



If your fluid is burnt, it will smell a bit like burnt toast, but then that's how it smells to me. If it smells like burnt anything, it needs to be replaced.
