Tranny TSB not completed (Update)

Well... here's the story.



Went to the dealer to have the latest TSB for the V8 6 speed tranny. Dropped it off - went to work. (My aunt works there so I get to swap with her car when I drop the ST off for service)



Called them later only to find out that thier computer was busted - ya know, the one that uploads the new software to the truck's computer.



They certainly coulda told me that in the morning. My aunt was pissed cause the could have told her too.



Now I have to wait till they get the part they need before I take it back.

What a pain!!!!! It will be worth the wait. I had mine done late November & knock on wood its been great since then. Transmission shifts up & down as it should. Good luck

jimmy,

i know the feeling. when i took mine in they insisted that the tsb did not exist.!

they finally took my word after i complained enough and since it was done it has returned 4 months later.

got to bring it back again :angry:
