Well I fixed my leaking problem over the weekend, I did find out something interresting though. Went to AutoZone to get a tranny filter, and there are 2 types of filters, shallow pan and deep pan. So I bought both to cover my @$$, and matched it up when I pulled the old unit.

I am guessing the shallow filter is for a 2wd vehicle???

Also did something silly to, I adjusted the EPC solenoid. Well I think I forgot to plug it back in:wacko: my OD light is flashing, and giving me the EPC "open" code. But wow it hits hard when shifting, like a super shift kit. So I get to take the pan back off again tonight, good thing I installed a drain plug though:D

Just thought I would share my sillyness. I just love doing things twice..

Yes the 2wd is the shallow pan......

Also a good upgrade if you have a 2wd to go to a 4wd pan... Gets about 2+ more quarts..

Another thing is the bolt the filter comes with and the rubber o rings, Just be sure to use the correct ones...
