Transfer Case Fluid Change

Even though the Trac has not been feeling well lately, decided I should change the transfer case lube, Looked easy enough.



For those who wonder how hard it is to do, personally, it was as easy as changing the oil.



I used the suction gun which I already had from where I swapped some pwr steering fluid, and it was a breeze. Filled it up with Mobil1 ATF.



Even though I do not use 4WD that often, the fluid was a bit dirty looking.



Thanks JohnnyO for the listed project. I probably wouldn't have thought of doing this yet if I didn't run across it.

But the transfer case is always turning even if you don't use the 4WD so it gets beat up just the same..



Nice to perform some maintenance your self... Saved about $40.00 bucks as well...
