i seen in the projects section where the EPC can be adjusted 1/4 turn

for firmer shifts.

does this also work with the 4x4 tracs and are there any long term effects

from doing this that you know of?

thanks in advance

Rich,

my ST is 4WD......The 4wd and 2wd doesn't make a difference it is still the same tranny... I have had this done for about 4 months before Stone wrote the project...

Paul H, did this about 4 months ago.

Long term effects, Better shifts, cooler running tranny... :D:D

What this does is not raise the pressure ALL the time, it only raises the MAX the tranny can run when the trucks computer calls for MAX pressure.

Todd,

im just under 57k but im trying to do all the 60k stuff early as i bought

my trac used and im not 100% sure how well the second owner took

care of it.

i did speak to the original owner ( got lucky and found his old INS card behind glovebox)

and he said all service and aftermarket installs were done at his local ford dealership

until he sold the trac with 40k on the odometer.

of course all his paperwork went to the second owner and that guy didnt pass it

on when he traded it in.
