Any body ever install one? 2002 2wd with auto. all original. In your opinion was it worth it, very difficult, would you do it again? I'm planning on pulling a 20' center console on flat roads. Want to have at least a sense of security or notice of pending doom. Thanx Harry.

Simplest thing to do is get yourself a OBD2~BlueTooth Scanner module
& use your "Stupid" Phon to display TrannyTemp & many other selectable sensors as you drive.
I use an OBDLink# MX+ with the OBDLink App on my AdroidPhon for a driving display.
This costs ~$100; there are cheaper options using $25~$50 ELM modules.
These are very handy for general troubleshooting & repair; highly recommended;
pay for themselves by saving you from buying unnecessary parts & paying mechanics.
Click here for more info.

Can also install a dedicated TempSensor that replaces the PressurePortPlug on the leftside of the Tranny;
wire that to a new TempDisplay mounted on Dash or left front Post.

Or get a temp "block" install it in the line or pan and run to a new gauge .
