TSB 03E05

I was checking the Gen1 Sport Trac TSB list and came across 03E05 for my '03. Anyone have a part # for "Evaporative emissions canister fresh air inlet hose connector"?

Don't think it's been done on my '03 and I can't find a diagram in sponsor Fast Parts Network list of parts....

This one i beleive is all you do is look in the wheel well under the gas door and if you see the elbow still connected your good, if not push it back on and zip tie both sides and your done.



if this is the right one, the elbow can fall off

Looks ok to me....I see two hoses that seem to be attached correctly.

Do you have a check engine or gas cap light?

No lights and runs fine....skips a bit in gear at idle.

Remember that a TSB is just a possible source for a common problem that vehicles have. It does not mean that the mfg will automatically perform the work for no reason...that is what they call a recall
