Turn signals and cruise control

Hello Sport Trac team, I need to replace my turn signal switch assembly and my cruise control switches, does anybody have any feedback or precautions as I tear apart the steering wheel?. I have a 2002 Sport Trac with an airbag steering wheel, some videos I have seen make it appear relatively easy but I wanted to get your feedback. Also, where do you believe is the best place for parts?
