Two Tone Door Panel?

One of my next projects on my list is to paint some

of the door panel black to give it a nice two toned

look. I will paint the smoother part of the door black

extending to the circular speaker area, leaving

the trim around the power door locks/power

windows tan, also the trim behind the

door handle will be left tan.



IMHO I think it will look a whole lot better than

a solid tan door panel.



Has anyone done this yet? If so, pictures would be

greatly appreciated.

Thats looks nice Todd, but the '01 and '02

have a different door panel layout, so what

im referring to will definitely stand out.

i painted my tray in the console, the stereo bezel and the inst. cluster bezel with a champaign met. and then put about 6 coats of clear over it, turned out very nice, the other paint was wearing off.
